Passwords

» What is a password?
A password is a word or series of characters (numbers and letters) which alows you to access files, computers, programs and much more. A password should be something ONLY YOU know. We don't recommend you to use words as they can be guessed easily. e.g. If you saw these passwords, which would you remember easier: password or 8j2k2jsh. They are both have the same amount of characters, but a word is remembered much easier.

» How to make a good password
A good password should be long and contain different characters and cases (Capitals). A password can, but shouldn't be a word. If some one has a glimpse at you password and it is a word, they should be able to remember it within 1 second.
We have provided a password generator below so you can make good passwords. We advise you to use a password like this for Habbo:

» How can people get your password?
There are many places your password can get out. The most popular was if fake forms asking for you password. A lot of sites have duplicate versions of forms which to the normal eye looks exactly the same. The only difference is, it stores your username name and password instead of logging you in. How do you notice the difference? The best way is to look at the URL of the site. If it isn't the genuine address then don't use it. Examples of a fake address:
Fake: www.habbo.fakeaddress.co.uk
Real: www.habbo.co.uk
